Beating your own drum

A street musician stood among Marikina pedestrians, singing and executing some mean rhythmic combinations. His makeshift bonggos were made of empty cans of infant milk, taped together. He hopped onto the rear end of a passing jeepney and continued to make unique, happy music.

The lights changed and I was on my way, thankful for the food for thought.
